We’re pleased to announce the release of version 4.3 of QuickQuote. Version 4.3 features some new options to help with job tracking, starting with a utility to customize your quote status list.
To use it, head over to your Utilities menu and select “Edit Quote Status” list. You will be presented with our default list of quote statuses, which now includes Final and Closed. With this utility, you can add, edit, and remove statuses from the list.
Each status can turn on certain fields on the main quote screen, such as the QuickBooks button. They also can change the header bar color, as well as have a highlight color in your quote list.
Not only can you configure these statuses, you can configure your activity templates to move the quote into one of those statuses when you add an activity using that template to the schedule!
Lastly, a couple of major quality of life changes went in with this update. The window where you load your quotes will now remember the last selection you made for your search filter, the window size, and the size of the columns in the grid.
Of course there are always bug fixes as well, including one long-standing issue with renaming tabs. So head on over to your updates page to login and download version 4.3!
